The list was in front of me, but somehow no story wanted to emerge from it. Nevertheless, I just started to put it all into a text for myself, as a memory, just for myself, I thought one day. At first, I had a hard time finding a beginning for the story, because I didn't know how to write. Then suddenly the point came that I felt similar to Willy when I started cycling again. In large parts of the book, I am Willy. The training, the music, the passion and even the competition with a colleague happened to me comparatively like that. The honest feedback from the first test readers was very important for me to see how it should be. The learning curve went steadily upwards. The number of pages grew. In the end, I was surprised at myself, what I came up with while writing and that it actually became a book.
